Bio

DJ Neff serves as the Head Coach of the Champion City Half Trax, bringing a strong background in collegiate baseball, player development, and leadership to the organization.

A native of Grove City, Ohio, Neff played collegiate baseball at Ohio Wesleyan University, where he competed for four seasons and established himself as one of the program’s most consistent offensive performers. Over his career, he was a two-time All-Conference selection, appeared in 136 games, collected 168 hits, and hit 23 home runs—ranking 11th all-time in Ohio Wesleyan program history.

Neff holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ohio Wesleyan University and currently serves as a Graduate Assistant at Wittenberg University, continuing to build his coaching experience at the collegiate level.

As Head Coach of the Half Trax, DJ is responsible for on-field performance, player development, and establishing a competitive, disciplined team culture. Known for his ability to connect with players, he emphasizes fundamentals, accountability, and preparation while helping athletes grow both on and off the field.
